2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Alfahosting GmbH, Ankerstraße 3b, 06108 Halle (Saale).

When you open a page, your browser automatically transmits data to the web server, which records it in server log files. Typically these are:

IP address of the requesting device
date and time of access
requested URL
referrer (the previously visited page, if your browser transmits it)
user agent (browser and operating system)
HTTP status code
amount of data transferred

The data is processed in order to deliver the website and to ensure its operation and security, for example to analyse errors and to fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website.

3. No cookies, no tracking, no external resources

This website does not set cookies, does not use tracking or analytics tools and does not embed external resources. No content is loaded from third-party servers: fonts and images come from our own server.

The only storage the website uses in your browser is your choice of colour scheme (light or dark): if you switch the colour scheme using the toggle, your choice is stored in the localStorage of your browser. This setting does not leave your device and is not transmitted to the server. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

4. Contacting us by email and phone

If you get in touch by email or phone, the details you provide (such as your name, email address or phone number and the content of your enquiry) are processed in order to handle your enquiry and answer follow-up questions.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract or to pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in answering your enquiry.

The data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

The email mailbox is operated with Microsoft 365. Emails sent to the address given are therefore processed on Microsoft servers.

5. External links

This website links to the profiles of Jochen Heinz on LinkedIn and Xing. The pages of these providers are only accessed when you click such a link; before that, no data is transmitted to the providers. Once you have followed the link, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR); recipients of your data are notified of any rectification, erasure or restriction in accordance with Art. 19 GDPR.

You also have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your data insofar as it is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).
